Client work

Real businesses. Clear outcomes.

The flagship project here is a store rebuilt end to end, from the customer-facing site to the stock, delivery and reporting systems behind it. Clients who prefer to stay unnamed stay unnamed, and everything built in-house is labelled as such.

Client work · name withheld

Thirty years of trade, rebuilt end to end.

An established Australian retailer with a loyal local following and a website that did none of it justice. The brief started as a fresh site and grew into the whole engine: new brand, new store, new product photography, and connected systems that turn evenings of admin into minutes.

The name stays off the site at the client's request, which is exactly the kind of request that gets respected here.

The practice where data can't leave the building

A legal guardianship practice in the Netherlands. Court reports, benefit applications, legislation lookups: hours of careful writing every week, about people whose details must never touch a cloud service.

The fix: an assistant that knows the law and her writing style, working only with anonymised situations, plus dictation and mail triage that respect the same hard line. The client stays anonymous here for exactly the reason the setup exists.

Base38 runs on its own systems

I use my own company to test whether a system is genuinely useful. My bookkeeping runs on an app I built myself, receipts are organised for review, and monthly numbers become a plain-English overview instead of another spreadsheet.

This website is part of that proof too. It shows the same care for clear choices, useful information and a handover that does not depend on me being there forever.

  • An accounting app built from scratch for the real books
  • Receipts structured and ready for review
  • Monthly numbers translated into a readable report
